The AS3B is a tri-shelf cable management system. It can be used with or without a Plasma/LCD mount. This unit is designed to fit under your display and provide an on wall solution for other components such as cable boxes, DVD players, game consoles, and stereo components. There are three 2.25-Inch holes on the aluminum plate that allow you to cleanly run your cables up to your TV or down to another component, as well as out the bottom to an outlet. After reviewing our competition we realized that most shelving units need to be mounted directly into a wall stud. In most cases the wall stud is placed to the right or to the left of the display, which is not where most people prefer to have their shelves mounted. This is still the most secure option however, after significant research we’ve fount that using the correct toggle bolts can allow you to mount your shelving unit wherever you see fit. With the combination of four of these toggle bolts the shelving unit is able to hold well over 70LBS safely.

How to Build these shelves...?
For a woodshop project i am attemting to build this shelving unit http://www.opulentitems.com/Modern-Jim-Shelves_p_918.html (click the 4th picture called medium) and i am trying to create it in Google Sketchup but i am having difficulty. if anyone could give me tips on how to come at this (such as doing the curves and make sure they match with eachother) that would be a great help or if somehow you have the measurements (aside from the limited ones given on webpage) if you could perhaps include a link to a "diagram" or just detailed explanation of the measurements and what they are from. please ensure that you look at the correct model (so called medium with 4 equal boxes at the center.. Thanks in advanced!!

Want to glass tile over a brick fireplace- where do I start?
We're installing our TV over our gas fireplace and we want a more modern look in place of the traditional brick surround. My husband is going to mount our Plasma on the wall and build a larger/sturdier mantle that goes into a shelving unit on the floor to hold our electronic equipment. We want to tile the surround using either glass mosaics or a travertine subway tile. I really want to do the tiling myself and want to surprise my husband by not having to ask for his help. I'd like to leave the brick up and just tile over it.... Not sure if this will work though. Can someone please help me... I can post pictures if necessary. Thanks!!!!

Apply a tile backer board to the brick facing to give you a smooth surface to apply your tile to. I would use an adhesive backing and anchor with the designated screws at the brick's mortar joints. Then apply your tile to the backer board, cure, and then grout and seal.
